• Each game is four (4)- eleven (11) minute running quarters with two-minute breaks and five minute halftime.
  
  
• Each team has one (1) 45 second time out per half. Clock and penalty time stops during timeouts.
  
  
• Games with goal differential of two or less will be stop time the last two minutes of games.
  
  
• All games ending in a tie will go into an eight-minute sudden victory OT period
• Teams will start at the opposite sideline from where they finished the games. If no goals are scored after eight minutes, a one-minute break will ensue and teams will change ends. Teams will have one timeout per eight-minute OT.
  
  
• Officials may stop on field play for any reason he/she feels fit, examples include: serious injury, game
  equipment issues, sideline problems, etc. During an injury timeout, the clock will run
  
  
• All substitutions are handled on the fly or on a goal scored
  
  
• If a shot is taken at the end of a half prior to the horn and the ball scores the goal WILL stand.
  • 8 –Meter Shots: WILL NOT be played if the horn sounds for the end of the game or half.
  
  • Alternate possession – The team listed first on the schedule receives the first alternate possession. After the initial possession is awarded, the possession will then alternate.
  
  • Yellow/Red Card Penalties: All cardable penalties are 2:00 NON-RELEASEABLE and team plays “player
  down.”
  
  • 1 YELLOW Card (PLAYER) – the player must sit for 2 minutes, running clock, the field marshal at the table will
  keep time.
  
  • 1 YELLOW Card (COACH) – a player from the field must be taken off and sit for 2 minutes, running clock, the
  field marshal at the table will keep time.
  
  • 2 YELLOW Cards – the player must sit the remainder of the game. This player may return to the next game.
  
  • RED Card-defined as a single red, not two yellow cards (PLAYER) – The player must sit the remainder of the
  game and the first half of the NEXT game.
  
  • RED Card (COACH) – The coach must leave the game and the game field until the completion of the game.
  
  
• They may NOT coach from the stands or the perimeter of the field
  
  
• Transitional checking for all games.

› 2027 Rules: All players must be born on or after 7/4/2013 for the 13U division. Birth certificate or Passport submission will be required by each player via Player Authenticate

› All players at Central, South, and West qualifiers must reside within 150 miles of the home field/HQ of their program, players at North And East Qualifiers must reside within 100 miles of the home field/HQ of their program

› Players will be required to submit a proof of residency via parents drivers license or utility bill to confirm primary address

› All players must live at the submitted address at the start of the calendar year, Prep school students must submit the primary address of their primary parent/guardian in order to be eligible, Secondary home addresses will not be considered a valid address, Primary address is considered the address that is lived in for the majority of the year and where taxes are filed

› Home field/HQ address must be approved by the LWSC before verification invites are sent

› One off/All Star teams are not allowed to participate in the LWSC. All teams must be part of an established competitive club

› Final decisions on what constitutes a competitive club is at the discretion of the LWSC

› All prospective teams are subject to interview before participating in the LWSC

› Clubs are able to host a tryout to form their teams and select players as long as they are not current members with another program participating in the LWSC

› Partnerships or alliances between two or more clubs to create a team is not permitted, All roster eligibility rules will be enforced at the discretion of the Lacrosse World Series Championship

› No double rostering is allowed

› Roster size will be capped at 30 total players with a max of 28 field players and minimum of 2 goalies at all times

› If a team drops from the tournament, a full refund minus the $500 deposit will be processed
