Participating in the LWSC is a dream come true for the Team PA Lacrosse Program. The team was founded as a non-profit in the summer of 2019 in the Philadelphia suburbs with the goal of providing all of our players with world class coaching, competition and support in their lacrosse development. All of our players play with passion and share a great respect for the game, as well as the desire to bring their focus and “can-do” attitudes off the field with them in everything they do.
The Team PA coaching staff is composed of individuals who share this same passion for the sport, and view their work with the team as an opportunity to give back to a game that has brought so much to their own lives on and off the field. Head Coach Dave Curry, former UVA All-American and 1998 World Team member, is the perfect leader for this young talented group as they embark on their goal to compete hard and win the LWSC.
Team PA is well balanced across attack, midfield and defense. The players are starting to buy into their roles on the team and how those roles can make a big difference in the overall success of the team. We play an up tempo, unselfish style of lacrosse and try to take advantage of transition opportunities when they are presented, but also have the discipline to slow the game down when needed to create balance.
We are very excited to have qualified for the LWSC and we know our players and coaches will bring their “A” games to the tournament in June. Go Team PA!
