Team Bio

The Legacy Lumberjax are excited and proud to be a part of the 2023 Lacrosse World Series Championship.  Our players at Legacy Lacrosse pride themselves on meaningful work and the 10,000 hours philosophy- the number of hours ‘masters’ of their chosen area have put in.  There is no shortcut to success on and off the field, and we try to instill those values of hard work and dedication to all our student-athletes.  During this exciting weekend, we want every player and family to take in the experience and enjoy each moment. This level of competition and the Lacrosse World Series atmosphere will have lasting effects on the players on and off the field forever.   Our Lumberjax philosophy will always be to support our brothers on the field, respect the game, and always play fundamentally sound.

Hailing from Long Island, the club lacrosse scene is very competitive and that teaches our boys to always show up every game with their best effort possible.  Our players have worked tirelessly since the fall to prepare for this weekend, all while being reminded to enjoy every moment of it.  Our Legacy 2021 team won the World Series of Youth Lacrosse in Denver in 2016 and the Lumberjax are looking to follow in their footsteps, but we know it won’t come easy.  We’re excited and honored to represent our club and our families this season at Championship weekend!
