True Maryland is part of the True Lacrosse Organization founded in 2008 by Jake Deane and Mike Gabel. True Lacrosse started in Chicago, IL and has expanded into 23 states and 55 cities across the United States. True has sent over 5,000 kids to play college lacrosse at the D1, D2, and D3 levels. True Maryland is designed to bring together the best players in the Chesapeake Bay area to compete in the HOCO Spring League and top tournaments in the country. We want to provide a culture that builds confidence, develops accountability, and teaches our players to value work ethic through elite-level training on and off the field. True MD is comprised of battle-hardened players who frequently compete on and against the best teams in the country. Starting with impressive goalkeeping, complemented by a talented veteran defensive unit, a midfield core that can go toe to toe with any team, and an attack that is both dangerous and unselfish, True MD brings to bear some of the best lacrosse Maryland has to offer and will seek to represent the state in a manner befitting the perennial hotbed of lacrosse.
